Tumbleweed rolls on…
Tumbleweeds are transient by nature, so it should be no surprise that our little theatre company has dissolved over time with folks rolling (or somersaulting) on to other projects. With people scattered to the winds we are putting the Tumbleweed company and site to rest.
As at June 2012 Tumbleweed alumni can be found working on projects around the world (ranging from raising children, through working and performing in Sydney and Melbourne to preparing for the Edinburgh Fringe.) We are justifiably proud of the amazing people we have been able to work with since 2008.
Tumbleweed has been the product of the collective hard work and effort of the amazingly talented: Johanna Bourke, Amanda Buckley, Keira Daley, Tim De Sousa, Neal Downward, Viv Egan, Elise Fabris, Paul Geddes, Matt Grant, Jacqui Greenfield, Jo Gregory, Lauren Hendry-Parsons, Amy Hume, Tim Judge, Pete Lead, Kate Leaver, Julia Lenton, Patrick Magee, Emelia May, Sophie Miller, Luke Murphy, Sam Pacelli, Jennifer Parbery, Alexandra Plim, Courtney Powell, Erin Turner, Jon Williams and Adam Yardley.
Our undying gratitude for their love and support over the years also goes out to: Declan Kennedy, Robyn & John Jessup, Adrian Jessup, Kerrie Lee & Alan Kennedy, Sharon Egan, Matthew Charles & the Roxbury Hotel staff, Mr & Mrs Hume, Mr & Mrs Miller, Mr & Mrs Turner and all the other parents, girlfriends, boyfriends, husbands and wives, brothers and sisters and friends who have let us monopolise the time of their loved ones and selflessly lent myriad random props and costume odds and ends, board and lodgings and tools – and been to see our shows.
We thank you all with all our hearts for the fun times and great shows and wish everyone the best for the future.
- Amanda Jessup & Brydie Lee-Kennedy
