Goldilocks, the most popular and beautiful girl in all of Fairyfail, has gone missing! The only person who can find her is Brownilocks, her lesser known little sister. As Brownilocks sets off, she meets some Fairyfail residents- the Big Bad Wolf, Rumpelstiltskin and more – and discovers that they don’t quite live up to their reputations…

This is an original script subverting well-known fairytales. Brownilocks is the perennial underdog, and will demonstrate to children that heroes can appear in unlikely forms. It is cheeky and high energy, featuring 5 performers, a live musical score and a lot of audience interaction.

BOOK PRINCESS CABARET EDINBURGH FRINGE TICKETS HERE

Once upon a time, seven young women with backgrounds in comedy, musicals and impro came to know and love those meek and male-dependent icons, the Disney Princesses. Now, through darkly satirical, fast-paced sketches and polished song and dance, they explore old conventions and their nostalgia for childhood heroines.

Princess Cabaret is a satire with a very girly subject: Disney princesses. Performed by seven girls, it contains high‐level coarse language and adult themes. It also includes musical parodies, wicked humour and exploding stereotypes.

Princess Cabaret began life as part of Sydney University’s Women’s Revue. The show stuck it to those men, and women, who’ve always thought that a princess was nothing without her prince!
