BLANK the Musical – Bondi

See BLANK at the Bondi Pavilion 8pm, 14-18 July

Tix $10 from www.moshtix.com.au or call 1300 GET TIX.

BLANK is playing as a double-bill with Princess Cabaret – both shows only $18.

presented in conjunction with Blank Slate

Lend them your BLANK and they’ll sing you a song. In fact, they’ll sing you a whole musical – BLANK the Musical – with all the melody, harmony, fun and feeling of a regular stage musical – sans script and score. They’re singin’ on the edge!

Improvised comedy gets a song and dance routine by eight of Sydney’s hottest improv comedians. Just inspire them with your BLANK at the start, then sit back and enjoy as your BLANK unfolds.

The talented cast combines the spontaneity and hilarity audiences love from improvised comedy shows such as Theatresports®, or TV favourites Thank God You’re Here and Whose Line is it Anyway?, with the all-singing, all-dancing pizzazz of a Broadway musical.

Starring: Amanda Buckley, Tim Judge, Pete Lead, Brydie Lee-Kennedy, Jon Williams, Adam Yardley and special guests with Sophie Miller on keys.

Alice in Wonderland – Bondi Pavilion, July 2009

Alice in Wonderland

Back from a successful run at the 2009 Melbourne International Comedy Festival (see reviews below), Alice in Wonderland is making its way to the Bondi Pavilion for one week in the July school holidays.

When: 11.30am, Monday 13 July – Saturday 18 July

Where: Bondi Pavilion, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Bondi Beach

Alice in Wonderland will be followed at 1pm by its sister show, Alice: Through the Looking Glass

Ticketing details will be available from this website by the end of May, please come back to find out more.

About Alice in Wonderland…

Being a little girl is ever so boring. You’re always being told to sit up straight and not to bite your Nanny.
But let’s pretend that all the grown-ups and all the lessons could just…disappear. Let’s pretend there is a Wonderland filled with brilliant (and rotten!) creatures. Let’s pretend that the cards we play with can spring to life and take us on a journey through their magical world.
Come along and pretend with us. You’d probably like it if you gave it a try.
Best wishes,
Alice
P.S. If you see the White Rabbit, please tell her I have her gloves.
P.P.S. I promise not to bite anyone in the audience.
P.P.P.S. Sometimes I break promises.
P.P.P.P.S. But not this time, I promise.

Featuring four high energy performers who combine storytelling, pantomime, an original score and live music, this children’s classic will be loved by kids and grown-ups alike.
