Past Projects
Sadly, all good shows have to draw to a close, but their blurbs and pics and reviews live on here…for a trip down memory lane check out a selection of past Tumbleweed shows below. Amazingly the list is not exhaustive, other awesome shows we’ve done include Fairy Fail and the Roxbury Horror Show (links to their archives soon). There has also been our beloved ‘BLANK’ in association with Blankslate. Happily the members of the BLANK troupe are all still good mates, just living different states at the moment…one day there’ll have be be a reunion – the elusive 50th BLANK awaits!
To think since Tumbleweed began we’ve been done the Edinburgh Fringe, Adelaide Fringe, and the Melbourne and Sydney Comedy Festivals a few times over. Wow, we’ve been busy!…
After three glorious years, Princess Cabaret is going into hibernation for the near future. We’re not saying the Princesses will never return, we’re just saying that they’re due for a well earned break just at the moment.
Alice in Wonderland & Alice Through the Looking Glass: 2009-2010
After successful runs at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2009 and Adelaide Fringe 2010, our heaviest show (the props and set are made from solid timber) is on hiatus until further notice! You never know though, they’re such fun we might bring them back some time soon.
Cabaret Merlot in The Roxbury Horror Show: October 2009
In celebration of Halloween the Cabaret Merlot troup got their ghoul on for 3 days in October, culminating in the Roxbury Hotel Halloween party which also featured the Puppy Fight Social Club impro group. It was lots and lots of fun and we hope to do it again next year!
Princess Cabaret World Tour: July 2009!
Check out the itinerary from the Princess Cabaret World Tour 2009 which took regional NSW by storm in July 2009. It was a great success and helped raise a goodly amount of dosh for the Edinburgh Fringe adventure.
